The Hellenic Rescue Team of Attica (HRTA) is a volunteer organisation with 25 years of experience in search and rescue (SAR) operations, specialising in Land, Water, and Urban SAR.
Comprising approximately 1000 trained volunteers, 250 of whom are certified experts in their areas of operation, HRTA offers emergency medical response, first aid, and humanitarian assistance following disaster events.
The team actively collaborates with local, regional, and national authorities, frequently training alongside agencies such as the Fire Service and Coast Guard.
